During the most recent StyleCaster #StyleChat on Twitter , someone asked " Little Black Dress or colorful attire for your Holiday Party?". I, of course, said color! As cliché as this sounds, it is the most wonderful time of the year. So, why not wear color and sparkles, and celebrate? And with that, I've picked 3 beautifully chic looks, that don't require an LBD!

I am in love with this look. The color is so rich and looks even better because it's velvet! You'll stand out in a pool of black dresses, in just the right way! Wear your hair in loose curls or an up do, with a purple/silver smoky eye and a nude lip and you're all set!

Dress / Booties / Ring / Bag / Earrings / Necklace
Dazzle everyone in this gorgeous sequin dress - perfect for a holiday party or for NYE! The booties add an edge to the look. Wear with a nude lip or a bold, red lip! You could wear your hair up or down.

Dress / Sandals / Clutch / Earrings / Ring
The minute I saw this dress, I fell in love. It's glamorously chic, and yet understated. Keep your makeup natural, dramatic black eyeliner, maybe even with a hint of green and gold on the bottom!
