Deciding what to wear to a work holiday party is one of the trickiest things! Of course, it has to be professional, but this is also the right opportunity to show a bit more personality, no? Also, this is your chance to get noticed. So, what you wear to a work holiday party can be very important. That being said, you also don't wanna look like you're trying too hard.
The outfit I'm wearing in today's post works for a dinner party, or a low-key afterwork holiday get together. During work, you can skip the belt and add a blazer. After work, the belt adds more personality. When it comes to deciding what to wear to a work holiday party, I'm all about making subtle statements.
The dress
is a good ol' lbd, but there is a lot of volume, which definitely makes a statement. The shoes aren't loud, but they do stand out. Lastly, the best part - y'all know how I feel about pockets, right? If it has pockets, it wins.

Each piece in this outfit can make a statement all on it's own, but I've kept everything pretty neutral, making the skirt the highlight of this look.
