Outfit: Leather Pleated Midi Skirt

So, y'all know how the midi skirt is all the rage right now. I had tried a few different ones, but none of them looked right, since I'm a shorty. Then a couple weeks ago, I was perusing the NSale racks at the Topshop at Nordstrom, and saw this skirt. I didn't think it would look right, but I had to try it on. I tried it on with this sweater, also from there, and fell in love with how both pieces looked together!

I can't believe it's Thanksgiving tomorrow, and more importantly - Black Friday in two days! I've got a list of amazing sales that are on right now!! Read more

Trend Alert: Backpacks

Last week, my friend Priscilla text me and asked me if I could do a post on backpacks, and their trés chic comeback, since she has been obsessing over the trend! The funny thing is, I had just purchased a mini neon backpack the day before - I have been equally obsessing over mini backpacks. But we're not talking about good ol' Jansports. I'm obsessing over mini backpacks - just another fun way to show your personality! As much as I'm dying to rock this trend though, I'm not quite sure how. So, I turned to the obvious infinite database of outfit inspiration - Pinterest, and also did some Google image searches. Above are some ladies who I thing have nailed the backpack trend! My absolute favorite look is the one with the ballerina skirt & stripped tee.

Five Sweatshirts I Need From Asos

So, I'm in Houston as of yesterday, for a conference. It's ridiculously hot in H-town, but it's started to get a bit chilly in New Jersey, and I absolutely love it! Fall is my favorite season. So, I wanted to look for some cool sweatshirts - sweatshirts are definitely trending this season - and I decided to check Asos. Well, I was only looking for one or two sweatshirts but I found way too many. I narrowed the list down to five sweatshirts that I'm pretty much convinced I need. Here they are -
