If you follow me on Instagram , you probably saw a preview of this Marc by Marc Jacobs blouse. This gorgeous blouse is the final purchase I made with my $100 Marshalls Project Fab giftcard! It's originally priced at $240, and I bought it for $49!!!! (Yes, all those exclamation marks were definitely needed). I mean, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this deal!

So, here's my final Project Fab tab:

This Cynthia Rowley sweater - $24.99 (Retail: $50.00)

This maxi dress - $19.99 (Retail: $30.00)

Marc by Marc Jacobs Blouse: $49.00 (Retail: $240)

Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat: $6.99 (Retail: $12.00)

All this for a grand total of $101.45, since there's no tax on clothes in NJ (#1 reason I never wanna move!). So, I got all this fabulous stuff, and only spent $1.45 over my $100 Project Fab giftcard. Did I mention, I love Marshalls?

Ok, moving on. We've definitely started seeing hints of fall weather in Jersey the past week or so - and I couldn't be happier - it's finally (faux) leather weather! Leather and floral is the perfect mix of summer+fall, no?

So, I'm heading to Houston tomorrow, for a huge conference/career fair. There will be close to 300 companies there, including some of my top preferred companies. Will you guys please send me positive vibes and pray for me, so I can land my dream job while I'm out there? Thanks! Btw, I'm there till the 15th and am free on the 14th and the morning of the 15th. If there are any bloggers in that area, I would love to meet up. Email Me !

How To Wear Florals

Floral is always on trend in Spring and Summer, but I feel like I've been seeing a lot more of it this season, no? I, for one, am loving this trend! Here are a few ways you can incorporate it into your wardrobe! By the way, all the floral pieces are under $50 !

Screen Shot 2013-05-10 at 10.30.19 PM How gorgeous is this dress ? Personally, I love mixing soft pieces with tough pieces. So, I'd pair this super feminine dress with a pair of edgy biker boots! I would totally wear this outfit out for a casual lunch or shopping!

Screen Shot 2013-05-09 at 3.21.12 PM I am obsessed with these pants ! Since they pants are so colorful, I'd keep the rest of the outfit neutral. Again, the spike bracelets add an edge!

Screen Shot 2013-05-09 at 11.09.57 PM Love this skirt ! Again, because the skirt is so bright, I'd keep the rest of the outfit neutral. The skull necklace and spiked bracelet add an element of toughness. The flats help tone the look down, and make it more casual.

Screen Shot 2013-05-09 at 11.46.30 PM I love nothing more than pairing a floral piece with leather. And how amazing is that ring? I'd totally wear this outfit to dinner! I need this blouse !

Screen Shot 2013-05-10 at 10.40.46 PM Now, before you think I've lost it, let me clarify that I'm not suggesting wearing this whole look, with all those pieces. This is just to show all the different floral accessories you can pair with a basic look, to make it more fun and spring appropriate! Shoes / Necklace / Scarf / Clutch

So, how do you guys like wearing floral?

Outfit: Florals & Brights

Happy Thirsty Thursday, lovies! So, do any of you guys know how to interpret dreams? Sometimes, I have the craziest dreams and I have no idea why. Case in point - the dream I had last night. It's like I was basically in that movie 2012 - floods everywhere, people running for their lives, lights going out, everyone screaming. It was kinda scary and I wonder why I had such a dream and what it means. Maybe it's because things have been very chaotic for me the past couple weeks?

Anyways, on to the outfit - I'm so excited to debut my favorite skirt from the Prabal Gurung for Target collection! I love everything about this skirt - it's such a great basic piece!

PS - Stop by tomorrow for my trend predictions for the Oscars this Sunday, and the 20 dresses I would love to see on the red carpet!

Skirt: Prabal Gurung for Target / Top: Gap / Necklace: TJ Maxx / Grey Suede Pumps: Aldo's
Watch: BCBG MaxAzria / Bow Ring: Charlotte Russe / Minaudiere: Steve Madden / Nails: Essie Playdate
As mentioned in my review of the PG for Target collection, a lot of the pieces were a bit matronly, in my opinion. This print, aptly named Meet the Parents, is very conservative. So, I decided to pair the skirt with some brights to make it a fun look!  How would you style this skirt?
