Military Green Dress + Nine West Bag Giveaway

You know, when I used to hear about how fashion trends always recycle, I never believed it. That has, undoubtedly, changed in the past couple years. I don't remember exactly when I bought this dress, but it has definitely been 3-4 years, and what do ya know - the military trend is super back! The way I see it, trends never die - they just hibernate! Btw, my legs so pale - in desperate need of some sun!

OOTD: All About The Bag

You know how there are certain pieces that just deserve to have an entire outfit planned around them? Well, I feel like this bag is one of those. Yesterday was supposed to be warm and sunny so I thought I could wear this outfit but it turned out to be cold and gloomy. Clearly, I'm already in Spring mode.

Outfit: Florals & Brights

Happy Thirsty Thursday, lovies! So, do any of you guys know how to interpret dreams? Sometimes, I have the craziest dreams and I have no idea why. Case in point - the dream I had last night. It's like I was basically in that movie 2012 - floods everywhere, people running for their lives, lights going out, everyone screaming. It was kinda scary and I wonder why I had such a dream and what it means. Maybe it's because things have been very chaotic for me the past couple weeks?

Anyways, on to the outfit - I'm so excited to debut my favorite skirt from the Prabal Gurung for Target collection! I love everything about this skirt - it's such a great basic piece!

PS - Stop by tomorrow for my trend predictions for the Oscars this Sunday, and the 20 dresses I would love to see on the red carpet!

As mentioned in my review of the PG for Target collection, a lot of the pieces were a bit matronly, in my opinion. This print, aptly named Meet the Parents, is very conservative. So, I decided to pair the skirt with some brights to make it a fun look! How would you style this skirt?

Outfit: Red & Chambray

I've been obsessed with this combination for a while but had been on the search for the perfect chambray shirt - until I found this polka dot one! So, I was so excited to wear this outfit when I went to hang out with Sheela over the weekend! This is my version of one of the looks from this post .

Also, last week, I was going through pictures from my undergrad days and noticed that I used to curl my hair all the time. So, I decided to try it again - I just wish the curls stayed longer! Do you guys know how I can get my curls to hold longer?

Btw, I hate how I always have this hair tie on my right wrist. It's such a habit and I always forget to take it off when I'm taking pics!

OOTD: Wedge Sneakers

I had been on the hunt for a budget-friendly pair of wedge sneakers for a while and eventually, I gave up. Over the summer when I was interning at New Balance, I had to do store visits and during one of those store visits, I saw this pair at DSW and my search finally came to an end! Well, I finally had a pair of wedge sneakers and then came the million dollar question - How on earth do I style these things? Of course, I Googled it but it was all pictures of celebrities wearing em and clearly, I'm not tall and skinny like them so that didn't help much.

Last week I saw someone wearing leather leggings with a tee and wedge sneakers and I thought - bingo! So, I finally figured out how to style these!
