It's been just over a year since I did my last (also my first ever ) bloopers post, and you guys loved it! Little known fact - I don't always look the way I do on my blog. That's the truth of life. I wish I did, but I don't. Also, when I shoot for my blog, I take a ton of pictures so I can get 5-6 good ones I can use. Well, not always. It depends. We have some good photo days when it's super easy, and then some days when it's just really difficult to get good pictutes. I love that all my phototgs - my mom, my friend, Natasha, and Maddy & Ami (when I was in SF) - loved taking candid (often ridiculous) photos of me for their entertainment. I thought it was about time to share some bloopers and BTS photos, with appropriate captions, of course.

So, I've had this studded military jacket forever and never actually got around to wearing it. The thing is, I had ordered it online and it was too big. Good thing the oversized silhouette is on trend now! I finally got a chance to wear this studded military jacket this weekend! When I was shooting this look, I realized halfway through that I had forgotten to put lipstick on! Figures, right? Any other blogger babes ever had that happen? Usually, I leave a scrunch on my wrist when I take photos, and then notice it while I"m editing and posting them! At least, this time I realized mid-shoot!

I've been on the hunt for a pair of over the knee boots for the longest time, but I just hadn't found the right pair. Then I saw these, and I knew I had to have them. These over the knee boots are perfect with a skirt or dress, or over jeans or stockings! Can y'all believe they're $55?!

If y'all follow me on Instagram , you probably saw that I wore this outfit to work last week, but I had styled it a little differently for work. I caught up with some friends this weekend, and decided to switch this look up a little bit! I can't wait to continue styling these over the knee boots through the rest of Fall, and Winter!

OMG, you guys. I am obsessed with this plaid suit. OB-SESSED! Yes, the caps lock was necessary. Also, this outfit makes me feel very Harry Potter(ish). So, I've never actually watched Harry Potter anything (sorry!), but from whatever limited knowledge I have, I just feel like I'm headed to sorcerer's school (??) in this outfit! Am I super far off? Am I, at least, slightly accurate in saying that? Any Harry Potter fans out there who can enlighten me? That (possibly totally off) feeling is what inspired this goofy, super fun shoot! Maybe this outfit is more private school, than sorcerer's school. Either way, this was one of the most fun shoots I have ever done!

I wanna give a big shoutout to my photog and friend, Natasha, for capturing these awesome shots, and for being comfortable with my goofiness and craziness during our shoots!

I fell in love with the stripped lining of this blazer right away, but I didn't even notice the yellow felt lining, under the collar of this blazer, until after I got home. As soon as I saw that, I knew I had to pair this plaid suit with the yellow Phillip Lim x Target bag. Interestingly enough, this whole outfit, except the t-shirt, is from Target!

The awesome thing about this plaid suit, like any matching set, is that both the trousers and blazer make great separates! I wore the trousers to work here , and the blazer here .
