Weekend Shenanigans
Happy Monday, lovies! Hope you guys all had a fabulous weekend and a great Mother's Day! I went out for a brunch party on Saturday, just to unofficially celebrate finishing my MBA. That was a lot of fun - got to hang out with some old friends and meet some new friends. I finally got to meet the other sister, Shruti, behind Urban Mantra (I had already met Richa a couple times before). They're both super sweet & adorable - go check em out! I also got to meet Erin, in real life. I connected with Erin on Twitter and it was great to finally meet her in person!
On Sunday, I wanted to give mom the day off so I just did some chores and then in the evening, went to the temple with my family and my mom's mom. I was so happy that mom also had her mom here this mother's day!

OMG this is my 100th post, you guys! This look is so different for me, personally. I guess it's my spin on office wear - since I'm graduating in a few short weeks, and all! :-0 When I used to work, before grad school, I would never stick to the typical blacks/greys/blues. I always loved wearing colors. So, this is me prepping myself for when I'm back in the workforce - which will be soon, hopefully. Happy Monday, lovies! You know I just realized I've been so drawn to yellow lately - I've posted quite a few outfits recently with yellow tops. So, this will have to be the last of it - it's time to stop the discrimination! Anyways, I wanna share something with you guys ....
Btw, I have something I wanna share with you guys. Initially, I had thought about just doing a big reveal after the fact but I'm so nervous that I just have to share with you guys before I take the plunge. As you may, or may not know, I had chopped my hair off about a year and a half ago and though I had never thought I would like short hair, I ended up loving it. Well, I'm long overdue for a haircut and this time around, I think I wanna do something even more daring. I'm gonna shave my head. It's something I've always wondered about doing and I think I'm ready. I wanna start over with my head o' hair, lol. I'm actually kinda sick of the long hair - it's always in the way! You guys, I am freakin the eff out but I really wanna do it! I have an appointment for Wednesday and my stylist has no idea what I'm about to ask her to do - that should be fun. OMG I scored these ankle pants at H&M, for $7, last week and I am obsessed with the color - aren't they amazeballs? I wore this outfit while running errands yesterday and then to dinner dinner, last night - though I actually ended up carrying a small crossbody bag to dinner.
