Happy Monday! So, a couple weeks ago, I was invited to attend a fall fashion brunch at Neiman Marcus. Lately, I've been awful with planning outfits, so I was trying to figure out what to wear last minute. I saw this neon dress in my closet (also worn here ), and thought it would be fun wear this über summer, neon dress in Fall, with a Fall twist! The weather's started to be a little chilly in NJ, and I'm loving it! I literally step out my house and wanna dance, because early Fall is my favorite time of the year. Anyways, I decided to add my faux leather bomber to this outfit, and also add a pretty, deep purple lip. Initially, I thought to just wear basic black pumps or flats, but then I remembered these gorgeous, Zara pumps I recently scored on Poshmark, and thought the little splashes of blue would be perfect against the neon dress! Since I was putting the outfit together last minute, I just grabbed my Gucci crossbody, but when I shot the outfit later, I thought about this super fun quilted bag .
I've said it before and I'll say it again, my number one personal style rule is that I don't follow any rules. Last week, I mentioned on Instagram, that how you feel and what you wear have a direct effect on each other. I truly believe that. For that reason, I love wearing bright colors and fun prints in Fall/Winter. Helps brighten up cold, gloomy days just a little bit!
