It's Tuesday Shoesday! It's also stockings season. The weekend was super warm here in NJ, and then yesterday it just got really cold. Honestly, I'm not complaining. Not yet, anyways.

Btw, I still can't believe what happened in my town last night. ICYMI, there was a shooting at Garden State Plaza in Paramus. That's my local mall - I'm there practically every other day. Except yesterday. It's always crazy to hear about these random shootings, as commonplace as they've become. It is, however, a completely different story when it's in your town. At your local mall. I'm just so glad nobody got injured, but it saddens me so deeply to think about the madness surrounding us! It's times like these that almost compel you to lose faith in humanity, but then I think of a quote I try to remember at all times -

"You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty." - Mahatma Gandhi

It is so nuts about the mall shooting but I’m glad the guy didn’t have any intentions of shooting anyone but himself.

Oh my gosh, that’s your town? I lived in Montclair for the past three years and just recently moved back to Boston. I’m so sorry to hear that the shooting was so close to you. I got goosebumps hearing about it. It’s so sad. And like you said, even worse that it’s so common these days. I do love your outfit, on a brighter note.
