Outfit: Red Jeans

So, last week I went out to dinner with a friend of mine and wanted to dress it up a bit. I took these pictures but then I was traveling so didn't get a chance to post em. It's been a while since I wore these red jeans (also seen here and here ), and boy did I miss them!

Btw, I ironed this blouse right before leaving, and yet it got so wrinkled! This blouse has a heartbreak story. So, it's another Marshalls find. It's a silk Joie blouse, retailed at $238, that I scored for $79.99. I got it the day before I went to Cali a couple weeks ago, and I really wanted to take it with me. I don't wear anything without washing it, so I hand-washed this blouse. However, in the midst of all the packing craziness, I completely forgot it's silk and put it in the dryer (doh!). When I took it out, I almost cried coz it had shrunk!!!! Luckily, I had bought it in medium so it had been slightly big. I tried it on, and showed it to my mom, and she told me it looked fine. Maybe I'm just paranoid, coz I think the sleeves look slightly short, which is why I stacked on the arm party. I guess it's not that bad? :-/ Still breaks my heart though! :'(

Outfit: Floral Blouse

If you follow me on Instagram , you probably saw a preview of this Marc by Marc Jacobs blouse. This gorgeous blouse is the final purchase I made with my $100 Marshalls Project Fab giftcard! It's originally priced at $240, and I bought it for $49!!!! (Yes, all those exclamation marks were definitely needed). I mean, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this deal!

So, here's my final Project Fab tab:

This Cynthia Rowley sweater - $24.99 (Retail: $50.00)

This maxi dress - $19.99 (Retail: $30.00)

Marc by Marc Jacobs Blouse: $49.00 (Retail: $240)

Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat: $6.99 (Retail: $12.00)

All this for a grand total of $101.45, since there's no tax on clothes in NJ (#1 reason I never wanna move!). So, I got all this fabulous stuff, and only spent $1.45 over my $100 Project Fab giftcard. Did I mention, I love Marshalls?

Ok, moving on. We've definitely started seeing hints of fall weather in Jersey the past week or so - and I couldn't be happier - it's finally (faux) leather weather! Leather and floral is the perfect mix of summer+fall, no?

So, I'm heading to Houston tomorrow, for a huge conference/career fair. There will be close to 300 companies there, including some of my top preferred companies. Will you guys please send me positive vibes and pray for me, so I can land my dream job while I'm out there? Thanks! Btw, I'm there till the 15th and am free on the 14th and the morning of the 15th. Marshalls Project Fab (Part II)

As I had mentioned in Monday's post , I was selected to participate in Marshalls Project Fab and went on a little bit of a shopping spree! This maxi dress is yet another Project Fab purchase. This maxi dress was another one of my Project Fab purchases, and I am obsessed with it! I love that I can dress it up or down. The best part? It was only $19.99!! There's a reason I've been so obsessed with Marshalls for years!

I also love that I don't have to stop wearing this maxi when it's fall, in a few weeks. I can just throw on my leather bomber over it, and I'm fall-ready!

Marshalls Project Fab (Part I)

Hey dolls! It's been close to three months since I announced my blogging hiatus . Well, unfortunately, I still haven't found a job. However, I'm feeling a whole lot less overwhelmed, and a whole lot more in control. And I was missing the sh*t out of blogging. So, I decided it was time to return. My job hunt is still my primary focus, but I'm so happy to be back to blogging!

Anyways, on to the outfit. If you follow me on Instagram , you might have seen the picture I posted of my $100 Marshalls giftcard. I was selected to participate in Project Fab, and couldn't be more excited! Marshalls is one of my absolutely favorite stores - they have amazing brands, at really affordable prices! A $100 Marshalls shopping spree is more like a $200 shopping spree. I had also posted a picture on Instagram of the 3 pieces I picked up, for under $85! This Cynthia Rowley sweater, for $24.99 (compare at $50), was a definite no-brainer! It's the perfect color for fall, and how cute is the back?!

So, I had been looking for the prefect pair of boyfriend jeans for the longest time - I just couldn't find a pair that fit me right. Then last week, I went to Urban Outfitters to return something, and per usual, started browsing the sale racks. That's where I found this gem, and you'll never believe how much it was - $9.99!! Since then, I've pretty much been living in these jeans! I prefer distressed boyfriend jeans so, I might distress these. Have any of you guys tried doing that at home? Do you have any tips?
